The Quiet After

A quiet story of standing still, and being carried.

I didn't plan to tell this story.

It just happened... the way

heaviness sometimes does.

The weight stayed.

The light faded.

But even then... You stayed too.

And that changed everything.

I didn't rush through the weight.

I let it teach me.

And I didn't carry it alone.

Sometimes the weight stays.

Sometimes the light fades.

But even then...

You're still with me.

And because You're with me,

I can carry this differently.

___

Still standing. Still carried.

Author's Note:

This reflection came from a quiet day that changed me.

I didn't plan to capture it.

I didn't plan to share it.

But sometimes the weight we walk

through becomes a way to reach others, too.

If you find yourself standing still

under heaviness...

Know you're not standing alone.
